Why Mineral?

Following the FDA's release stating that "infants are at greater risk than adults of chemical sunscreen side effects" published 24/08/21, Good Zinc made the world's first certified 100% vegan and 100% organic mineral sunscreen.

The FDA sunscreen safety review has confirmed Zinc Oxide to be the only broad spectrum active ingredient considered safe and effective, whilst chemical ingredients such as Oxybenzone or Octinoxate.

According to the WHO, Zinc is a vital mineral needed in almost every cell of humans, and over a third of the population does not get enough Zinc. Zinc Oxide is a miracle mineral that heals wounds, boost immune system regenerates skin and most importantly, blocks the sun.

Our sunscreen is made of 30% zinc oxide, as well as active ingredients such as grapeseed oil, hyaluronic acid, caffeine and sea buckthorn, which all have amazing benefits on your body. There are no hidden chemicals or nasties.

Caffeine has proven to have amazing anti-aging properties when applied to the skin, as well as fighting stubborn cellulite.

Hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisturizer that smooths the topography of the skin, hydrating and repairing with every application.

Sea buckthorn oil is a powerful antioxidant, containing a rare acid that stimulates skin regeneration and healing, giving it anti-aging properties.

Grapeseed oil is a potent moisturizer, with high amounts of fatty acids. It also contains powerful antioxidants which combat breakouts and reduce skin redness whilst hydrating.
